Any of our flutes can be decorated with burned designs, carvings, or inlayed with stone, shell, and metal. Some of our designs depict traditional Cherokee stories. We do this as a way of honoring our ancestors and our heritage. The designs that are on the flutes pictured here are inlayed with semi precious stones, not painted on. Usually our designs are ancient Mississippian/mound builder designs that were used by a number of tribes in the Southeast. Our flutes are one-of-a-kind pieces of fine art and they are in museum collections and private collections through out the world.  We would be happy to consult with you if you would like something specific (type of stone, animal, etc.).
